Our Story

THE WORD BIBLE COLLEGE AND THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY began as a burden to raise leaders who could faithfully interpret scripture and serve communities with integrity. Over the years, the institution has grown into a structured academic and spiritual community serving students from diverse backgrounds.

Our approach combines rigorous theological study, intentional discipleship, mentorship, and ministry practice. We believe theological education must shape both intellect and character.

Statement of Faith

We affirm the authority of Holy Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith, the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of the Church to make disciples of all nations.

Ministry Philosophy

We train students to serve with humility, preach with conviction, and lead with accountability. Knowledge is never an end in itself; formation and faithful witness remain central.

The President and Founder of The Word Bible College and Theological Seminary (WOBICOTS), Pastor J. B. Kumoluyi, is pleased to introduce the institution and its programmes.

The Word Bible College and Theological Seminary was established to provide sound, Bible-based theological education that equips individuals to become balanced ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

WOBICOTS combines spiritual formation, academic training, and practical fieldwork in one integrated programme. This approach is designed to raise seasoned ministers of the Word who can effectively address the spiritual needs of society in the twenty-first century and beyond.

At WOBICOTS, men and women are equipped with relevant tools through sound, Bible-based, Holy Spirit-inspired teaching. This training empowers them to minister effectively to the spiritually hungry and thirsty in society.
