The Cross and the Call to Holy Service

Main Text: Galatians 2:20

Christian ministry begins where self-rule ends. At the cross, Christ redeems us and redefines us. We no longer live for personal applause; we live by faith in the Son of God.

Sermon Outline

1. The cross exposes false motives. Ministry can be corrupted by pride and comparison.
2. The cross births new identity. We serve as those accepted in Christ, not those performing for approval.
3. The cross empowers holy service. Grace trains us to lead with purity, courage, and compassion.

When the cross remains central, ministry remains humble, truthful, and fruitful.
